On July 11, CNPC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sichuan Provincial Government.

CNPC President Zhou Jiping and Mr. Jiang Jufeng, Governor of Sichuan Province, signed on the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two sides. CNPC Vice President Liao Yongyuan and Vice Governor of Sichuan Province Wang Ning signed cooperation agreements on developing natural gas and jointly constructing oil & gas pipelines.
